Mrs. Ochsner, 63, died at her home in northeast Sutton, Monday evening, August 7, 1933; she was confined to her bed only about a week previous to her death, although she had been in ill health for years.
Mrs. Ochsner (nee Kitzmann) was born in Rohrbach, Russia on November 15, 1869, and died at Sutton, August 7, 1933, aged 63 years, 8 months, 22 days. She was married to Johan A. Ochsner in 1889 and in 1901 the family came to Sutton. Mr. Ochsner died September 13, 1921.
Survivors of eleven children are: Mrs. Harry E. Robinson, of Lincoln, and Mrs. Freda Reiter of Sutton, daughters: and John A. Ochsner of Sutton, a son: there are six grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral serice was held Thursday afternoon at the First Reformed Church, conducted by the Pastor Rev. Paul Traeger, who spoke from ROM. 12:12. The song service was by the choir. Interment was in the country cemetery of the church; bearers were Christian Nuss, Jr., Conrad Kniss, Peter P. Trautman, Alex Huber, Peter H. Ackerman and Henry Klein.
