June Ellen Gilgann, age 85 of Wautoma, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital.

She was born on October 1, 1927 in the Town of Newton to Theodore and Emma (Zellmer) Klimke. June was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John Lutheran Church in Harrisville. She married Eldon Gilgann on June 10, 1950. She was a homemaker and mother to her two daughters, Linda Lee and Susan Marie. After raising her family, June worked summers at Harris Villa Resort and later worked at Brakebush Brothers where she took an early retirement.

Survivors include her husband, Eldon; daughter, Linda Gilgann, Neshkoro; four grandchildren, Jocelyn (Sean Hulbert) Cartwright, Montello, Angela (Clint) Schumacher, Chatfield, MN, Alonzo (Sam Dahlke) Cartwright, Montello and Susan Cartwright, Neshkoro; great grandson, Dean Carter Schumacher; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Marie on August 26, 1983 and her fiancé, Boyd Spikerman on January 29, 1984; two brothers, Herbert (Eileen) and Edward (Merna) Klimke.

A funeral service for June will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Harrisville with Rev. Blaine Niskanen officiating. Burial will be in Harrisville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
