Mrs. Lucy Fay Vannoy Bever, 67, of Ravenswood, Rt. 2, died Saturday in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
She was born in Jackson County, July 4, 1904, daughter of the late John and Annetta Lockhart Vannoy.
She was a member of Lockhart United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Delbert A. Bever; four sons, Paul of Darlington, Pa., Delbert E. of Sacramento, Calif., Billy of Ravenswood, and John R. of Akron, O.; three daughters, Mrs. William Moore of Parkersburg, Mrs. Wayne Thompson of Washington, Wood County, and Mrs. Zeke Walters of Norfolk, Va.; two brothers, Ray and Russell Bever, both of Parkersburg; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Fulton of Sioux City, Iowa, and Mrs. Dan Thorn and Mrs. Delmar Kent, both of Sandyville; and 26 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Chambers Funeral Home in Ravenswood with the Rev. G. W. Prine officiating. Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.
