Married Ella Stuart Bethards on 29 OCT 1882 in the bride's home, Shelby County, Missouri by Rev. M. H. Butler, M.G. Married Allie Fee Bennett on 27 NOV 1895 in the bride's residence, Shelby County, Missouri by R. L. Jamison, Methodist Episcopal minister.

The remains of Wm. H. Dobbin of Bluejacket, Okla., arrived here last Wednesday and were laid to rest in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Deceased died at the home in Bluejacket on Nov. 23 of cancer of the face and neck.
He was born in Shelby county and was 59 years, 9 months and 17 days old at the time of his death. He formerly lived southwest of Shelbyville but for the past 20 years has made his home in Oklahoma and was engaged in the furniture and undertaking business in Bluejacket at the time of his death.
His first wife was Miss Ella Bethards, daughter of Matt Bethards, and to that union two sons were born, Roland and Pearl Dobbins. Mrs. Dobbins died about 25 years ago and he later married Miss Allie Bennett. To this union one child was born, Mrs. Ruby Davis.
Deceased is survived by a wife and three children, one brother, J. M. Dobbin of Stillwater, Okla., and two sisters, Mrs. L. C. Hayward of Mooresville, Mo., and Mrs. Tom Meredith of Harwood, Mo. The three children live at Bluejacket.
His brother, J. M. Dobbin and two sons, Roland and Pearl, accompanied the remains here for burial.

Another source I researched had DOB as 6 FEB 1860 and DOD as 23 NOV 1919, according to Thompson Funeral Home Records he died 11 NOV 1919 at age 59 years, 9 months and 17 days, so that would be 25 DEC 1860.
