Fern Elizabeth Stoffer graduated from Riverside Grade School in Wichita, Kansas in 1927 and Wichita North High in 1933. Her first marriage was on May 23, 1937 to Harry Eugene Hanna. She was divorced in 1944 and on April 17, 1945 was married to Cecil Brown in Cheyanne, Wyoming. Fern moved to El Monte, California where she eventually retired from working as a secretary for the El Monte Public School System. Fern lived the last several years in a nursing facility in El Monte and after her death was returned to Wichita, Kansas for burial.
