Larry Lavern Kerbs was born October 26, 1947 in Wellington, Kansas the son of Lawrence Kerbs and Frances Lucylle Kerbs.

He graduated from Wellington High School, attended Cowley County College and Bartlesville Wesleyan College.

On December 2, 1978 he married Janice Colvin in Bartlesville, OK

He served in the United States Army in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

He worked for Phillips in Bartlesville, OK for several years before moving to Shawnee and working for Central Plastics as a Quality Control Inspector, where he retired.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge, was the founder of the V.F.W. in Dewey, OK, and he enjoyed fishing and bowling, but especially enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents

1 Son: Dell Kerbs and wife Linda of Shawnee, OK

2 Granddaughters: Kensington and Kerrigan Kerbs of Shawnee

2 Brothers: LaRoy "Pete" Kerbs of Winfield, KS

Leland "Lee" Kerbs of Catoosa, OK

2 Sisters: Lynette Kerbs of Winfield, KS

Linda Reeve of Salina, KS

And several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
