Born in Putnam County, Aug. 29, 1874, she was a daughter of Frank and Mary (King) Schimmoler.
She married Harlan Ricker, May 17, 1900, and he died Nov. 21, 1957.
Surviving are seven children, Edmund of Columbus Grove, Ralph of Columbus Grove, Melvin of Rt. 2, Ottawa, Mrs. Leander Moening of Ottawa, Mrs. Henry Alt of Rt. 3, Leipsic, Mrs. Clark Alt of Rt. 3, Leipsic, Mrs. Herman Kuhlman of Rt. 2, Leipsic; one brother, Lewis Schimmoler of Lafayette, Ind.; 46 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Edna Lammers, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ricker was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Leipsic, where Requiem High Mass will be sung at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Mark Vogel as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Peoples Funeral Home, Leipsic, after noon Thursday.
The Altar-Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 8:15 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
