Dorothy F. Fredrick, age 79, of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009 in Appleton.
Born on Aug. 23, 1929 in the Town of Belle Plaine, she was the daughter of the late John and Amelia (Zingler) Fredrick. She was baptized on Sept. 22, 1929 and confirmed on May 28, 1944. Dorothy was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church-Stony Hill and was an honorary member of the Ladies Aid L.W.M.L. and the Altar Guild. She was also a member of the Dorcas Circle's Blanket Making Group and a former member of the H.C.E. Dorothy loved flowers, crocheting, doing crafts, and sewing mission blankets.
Dorothy is survived by cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Arthur.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Stony Hill in the Town of Richmond with the Rev. Richard R. Buhrke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday after noon until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
