Mrs. Koopmann, an active churchwoman, had been employed in the alteration department of Leys store in Plymouth until taken ill last October.
The former Nora Wanderslaben, she was born in Plymouth, Sept. 30, 1894, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wanderslaben.
She was married to Mr. Koopmann in Plymouth, Sept. 19, 1917, following which the couple continued to live there. Her husband died in February, 1953.
Mrs. Koopmann was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Plymouth, a member and past treasurer of its Ladies Aid Society, a member and former vice president of the Valpo Guild, a member of the Lutheran Women's Mission League and sang in the St. John s Church choir for many years. She was also a member of the Plymouth Golden Agers Club.
Surviving are two sons, Harold, Plymouth, and Norbert, dean of the University of Wisconsin Center at Marshfield; a daughter, Mrs. Adolph Schucht (Lorna), Sheboygan; six grandchildren, and a sister, Miss Hilda Wanderslaben, Plymouth. A sister preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Lutheran Church. Plymouth, with the Rev. G. A. Karpinsky, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery there.
Friends may call at the Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth. after 3 p.m. Friday, until noon Saturday and at the church from 1 p.m. Members of the St. John's Ladies Aid and the Valpo Guild are to meet at the church at 1:45 p.m. to attend services in a group.
