Plymouth – Mrs. Julia Louise Krampe, wife of the Rev. Ernst G. Krampe, died Wednesday afternoon at her home, 930 Eastern Avenue, following a short illness.
Mrs. Krampe was born Jan. 23, 1876, in the town of Herman, the daughter of G. Adolph Heyer and Louise Minna Zieman. She was confirmed by the Rev. C. P. Martin of the Immanuel Reformed church in the town of Herman.
On Jan. 9, 1897, she was married to the Rev. Ernst G. Krampe of Cincinnati, Ohio, by the late Rev. Dr. H. A. Muehlmeier of Mission House.
Mrs. Krampe was very faithful in assisting her husband in his pastoral work at Defiance, Ohio; the Bethel Reformed church in the town of Herman; at Kohler, and at the Salem Reformed church on the Plank Road, being particularly interested in Missionary work of the church. At the time of her death she was a communicant member of the Salem Reformed church at Plymouth, a life member of the Woman’s Missionary society.
Survivors are her husband; a daughter and a son, Miss Erna and Amandus, both at home; three sisters, Miss Emma Heyer, Mrs. William Landsiedel and Mrs. Anton Meyer; and a brother, Adolph Heyer, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at the Salem Reformed Church, the Rev. Herman G. Schmid officiating.
