Mrs. French rites held
Services for Rosa Lee French, of Rt. 2, Roxie, were held Monday, Nov. 22, at 10 a. m., at Greendale Methodist Church.
Rev. Frances Cotten officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Franklin Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. French died Saturday, Nov. 20, in Franklin Hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1906 in Franklin County, daughter of the late Carl Lehmann and Rosa Aldridge Lehmann. She was a member of Greendale Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Eastern Star, and Cattlemen's Association.
Mrs. French was a former longtime Franklin County Election Commissioner.
Survivors are one son, Leslie French, Jr., Roxie; one daughter, Rose Marie Luke, Gautier; one sister, Leota Martin, Houston, Tex.; two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Her husband, Leslie French, Sr., preceded her in death.
