Mrs. Anna Buhrle, 83, of Fruit Station died at 2:35 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, Alton, where she had been admitted Friday.
Born June 23, 1874 in Hamel township, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Caroline Lesemann Wiegmann. She was married to John H. Buhrle Feb. 8, 1898 at Immanuel E and R Church, Hamel. Mr. Buhrle died Sept. 23, 1953.
Survivors are two sons, John A., Hamel, and Elmer L. Buhrle of Fruit Station; a granddaughter, Mrs. Edwin Klenke; a great-grandson, Rodney Klenke; and a great-granddaughter, Sandra Klenke. A daughter, Olinda, four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
The deceased was a member of Immanuel E and R Church at Hamel and the Women's Guild of the church.
Friends may call at the Weber Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Wednesday when the body will be removed to the church for the 2 p.m. services. The Rev. LaVerne Smith, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Immanuel Church Cemetery.
