LEWISTOWN - Robert D. Foltz, 72, of 3345 Route 103 North, Lewistown, died at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown. Born July 2, 1927, in Granville, he was a son of the late Dale E. and Anna C. (Knox) Foltz. His wife, Martha (McMullen) Foltz, whom he married Nov. 14, 1951, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Terry (Mary Ann) Reed, Reading, David E. Foltz, Westland, Mich., and Thomas D. Foltz, Lewistown; brothers and sisters, Gerald K. Foltz, Mrs. Vernon (Dorothea) Shawver, and Mrs. Charles (Geraldine) Miller, all of Lewistown, Ann Louise James, McVeytown, Mrs. Paul (Edwina) Hess, Camp Hill, Mrs. Darle (Florence) Bilger, Orbisonia RR, and Mrs. Charles (Jacqueline) Boyden, Granville; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, H. Eugene Foltz, in February of 1998.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was employed in the heat treating department in test preparation at Standard Steel.
He was a member of Granville United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men's Club of the church. He was also a member of the Rocky Hollow Hunting Camp.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Raymond T. Brinson Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
