Ben Josef Miller, born October 11 1979 in Tahlequah, passed away November 12 2011 in Texas.

Ben attended Coweta High School where he lettered in football and wrestling, graduating in 1999. Ben attended NSU-Tahlequah and graduated from Haskell Indian Nation University with a Degree in Business Administration and was a member of the golf team where he excelled and earned numerous trophies. Ben was very active, enjoyed numerous activities and all sports, especially golf. He frequently golfed at The Woods Golf Course, participated in tournaments and was employed there for several years. As for college football, Ben loved OU, having attended several games including Big 12 Championship in Kansas City and a Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix. He was also proud to be a finalist in Tulsa and Muskogee Toughman contests.
Ben touched the lives of everyone around him. Ben's life was much too short, and those who knew him understand that the quality of existence by far exceeded the length. Words can not express the loss; gone but never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Donald G. Miller.

A burial will be at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Bens family appreciates and thanks everyone concerned for their help, condolences, flowers, gifts and meals. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory in Wagoner, Oklahoma
