Theodor Hinners, of Germany, came to Minster, Ohio & married Elisabeth Rohenkohl on 4-11-1837. Theodor died in Minster on 8-22-1855 and Elisabeth came to New Vienna where her cousins were Lucks, Vaske & Rohenkohls. Mrs. Hinners was a very good business woman owning a lot of property around New Vienna.
Children; Fred married Mary Lampman, farmed northwest of New Vienna; Maria (Mrs. Bruno Koch); Philomena (Minnie) (Mrs. Edward Recker; Bernadine (Mrs. Fred Fangman); Gertrude (Mrs. Xavier Gerken); Elizabeth (Mrs. Samuel Norton); Catherine (Mrs. Louis Middendorf); & Paul.
