Lillian A. Bleeker of Granbury, age 96, died of natural causes Sunday, Nov. 20 at her residence.
Interment will be at the family cemetery plot in Ames, Iowa.
Mrs. Bleeker was born in Manville, Ill. and retired with her husband to Texas in 1983. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Granbury.
She taught Sunday School for 40 years, was a Church Camp counselor for 10 years and hosted a Child Evangelism Club in her home for 22 years. For 16 of her years in Texas she was also an Avon Representative.
Hiram Bleeker, her husband of 53 years, died in 1993. She is also preceded in death by a son, Lt. Larry Bleeker and a brother, Harold Davis.
Survivors include four children, Gary Bleeker of Indianola, Iowa; Ron Bleeker of Granbury; LeRay Bleeker of LeClaire, Iowa; and Marlene Clark of Springfield, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, and 48 great-grandchildren.
Memorial gifts may be sent to the L.A. Bleeker Memorial at 15966 Quebec St., Indianola, Iowa 50125.
