Mrs. Anna Rosina Uber, widow of John G. Uber, died Friday, May 31st, from old age.
The deceased was born in Germany, in the Provice of Scleisen, November 6, 1827. She was married to Mr. Uber in her native place in 1852, and two years later they came to America, settling at what is known as Uberville, this side of Schleisingerville, their home having been on the same farm ever since.
Mrs. Uber was the mother of five children, of whom two survive her, Charles of Uberville and Ida, Mrs. W. F. Smith of Hewitt, Wood county. Mr. Uber preceded his wife in death fourteen years ago. There are surviving her fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral services took place at the home at two o'clock, yesterday afternoon, the remains being brought to this city for interment at the Union cemetery, Rev. Blankennagel officiating.
