Mike attended Verdigre Public School, Verdigre, Nebraska. On August 5, 1989, he married Lucy Dobias at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Verdigre, Nebraska. Two children were born to them, Lance and Karissa.
Mike farmed and also worked as a tree logger for Big Timber Tree Service, Verdigre, Nebraska. For many years he worked for North Central Public Power, as a utility lineman, at Creighton, Nebraska.
Mike was a member of St. Ludger Catholic Church, Creighton, Nebraska. Mike enjoyed helping with his daughter, Karissa's, Fast-pitch Softball Team and target shooting with his son, Lance. He played men's softball for the Walnut Brothers Team. Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends, taking joy rides on his motorcycle with Lucy, watching his children's school and sports activities, vacationing and taking trips with his family. He took pride in his garden, taking care of his lawn, and raising his calves.
Mike was very proud of Lance and Karissa. He was a wonderful family man, a great husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother and friend.
Mike is survived by: wife, Lucy Rudloff; children, Lance and Karissa; parents, John and Edith Rudloff of Verdigre, Nebraska; sisters, Rose Elaine (Mark) Jensen of Winnebago, Illinois, Julie (Matt) Freis of Elk Grove, California and Jane (James) Brion of Corvallis, Montana; brothers, Robert Rudloff of Norfolk, Nebraska, Francis Rudloff of Verdigre, Nebraska and David Rudloff of Verdigre, Nebraska and a host of family and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by: paternal grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Rudloff; maternal grandparents, Rudolph and Tillie Pavlik; father-in-law, Norbert Dobias and nephew, Jordan Rudloff.
Funeral services for Mike Rudloff, was Friday, December 2, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Ludger Catholic Church, Creighton, Nebraska.
Reverend Walter Nolte will be the celebrant with burial at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery, Verdigre, Nebraska.
