Myrtle Brannies Baer, 92, of Seguin, passed away April 18, 2006.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 22, 2006, at 1 p.m. in Goetz Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at Goetz Funeral Home on Friday from 5 until 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Baer was born Sept. 11, 1913, in Seguin to William A. Brannies and Mary Mertz Brannies.
Survivors include sisters Lula Brannies and Marylin Ausenbaugh and husband W. B. and a niece, Sheila Greinke and husband Ken, all of Seguin. She is preceded in death by her husband Emil J. Baer, eight brothers, a sister and parents.
Pallbearers are Sam Bauder, Ken Greinke, Matthew Hoffmann, Brian Mitchell, Cody Greinke and Larry Ferguson.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Seguin, The Women's Auxiliary of American Legion Post 245 or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements under the direction of Goetz Funeral Home, 713 N. Austin, Seguin, TX 78155;
