Per Dayton Daily News obit: Treva Louise Swope, age 82 of Englewood passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 1997. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Swope; 4 sisters and 3 brothers and is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David L. and Grayce Swope of Arlington, TX; Gerald A. and Carole Swope of Bellbrook, Edward L. and Rebecca Swope of Fairborn; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was retired from NCR, a member of Englewood United Methodist Church and Englewood Chapter 3563, OES. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 6th at Carrigan & Mains Funeral Home, 675 W. Wenger Road, Englewood, with Rev. George L. Sidwell officiating. Burial at Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-9 PM. Eastern Star service at 8:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3797 Summit Glen Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45449.
