Funeral services for Eunice Hibbs, a pioneer resident of the Dayton area who died Monday at the age of 94, were held Thursday at the Chapel of Macy and Son.
Mrs. Hibbs was born in Morrison, Ill., January 13, 1864, the daughter of Puella Kennedy and David Robertson. When she was ten years old, she came to Oregon with her parents. In 1892, she married John Hibbs of McMinnville and they purchased a pioneer farm near Dayton in 1900. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by a son, Royal W. of Dayton; two grandchildren, Mrs. Lois Becker of Sheridan and Ray W. of McMinnville; two great grandchildren, Allan Wayne Becker and Donald Ray Hibbs, and several nephews and nieces.
Rev. Milton Marcy officiated at the service. Interment was at Evergreen Memorial park.
