Mr. Hugh D. Jackson, 62, of Powell Place, Newnan, died Monday, December 13, 1999 at Newnan Hospital. Mr. Jackson was born June 3, 1937 in Newnan. He was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was a graduate of Auburn University and was a veteran of the United States armed forces. A funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Danny Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Surviving are his aunt, Sarah Key of Newnan; and uncles G. D. "Buddy" Jackson of Hogansville, GA, Joe M. Jackson of Kent, WA, Philip H. Jackson of Newnan and W.
