Son of Gotthelf Boehme and Christiana Schuster. He married first to Mary Pickelmann on May 24, 1882 at St John German Evangelical Church in Newport. She died on July 1893. Henry married Amelia Bohart on Aug. 22, 1894 at the same church. She helped raise the 3 children from his first marriage.
