Susan C. Behring, age 56, of 1118 Wedgewood Lane, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at Hospice Home of Hope after a short battle with lung cancer.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1952, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Chester and Mabel Hoffman Wilcox.
On Aug. 28, 1971, she married Thomas Behring at Luther Memorial Church.
Susan was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1970. She had worked at Reliable Knitting, Speed Queen and Mercury Marine. She was a member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church. Susan enjoyed helping people in need, and she loved traveling throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Surviving is her husband, two daughters and two grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters, a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother-in-law, Danny Zeman; two sisters-in-law, Mary Behring and Jean Wilcox; a nephew; and two nieces.
* Visitation: Visitation for Mrs. Susan C. Behring will be on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
* Services: Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Fred Toppe will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
