Robert Lee Blees, 85, of Alma died Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Society Home in Alma. Robert was born July 27, 1926, on the family farm north of Stamford to John and Maggie (Tams) Blees.
On April 16, 1949, he married Donna Gerd in Beaver City.
Survivors include his wife; son, Rex Blees of Cottonwood, Ariz.; daughter, Susan Grisinger of Fishers, Ind.; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Deaver Cemetery in rural Stamford with military honors by Merlin Palmer American Legion Post 233.
