DECATUR -- Mrs. Virgil W. (Helen V.) High, 78, of Decatur died 11 a.m. Sunday (March 5, 1995) in Imboden Creek Living Center.Mrs. High was born April 17, 1916, in Oswego, N.Y., the daughter of William and Margaret Stauder. She was a graduate of Millikin University and a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She served her dietetic internship at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, and worked for two years at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria as a Registered Dietitian. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She married Virgil W. High in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1982. Surviving are her sons, Stephen W. High and wife Patricia and Robert L. High and wife Paulette, all of Decatur; daughter, Mrs. Oliver (Margery A.) Hensley of Lubbock, Texas; brothers, Father William V. Stauder, S.J. of St. Louis, Mo.; Robert L. Stauder of Arlington Heights; sister, Sister Stephanie Stauder of Madison, Wis.; six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband
