Glee Nadine Boeck was born Nov. 8, 1918, at Buck Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Mabel Brewster Hain, She died Tuesday, June 26, 1979 at St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City after a long illness at the age of 60 years, 7 months and 18 days. Glee was raised in the Buck Grove area and attended the local schools. Later she attended Drake University and upon graduation taught school for many years.

On June 9, 1945, Glee was united in marriage to Harvey Harry Boeck at Denison. They made their home in Denison for many years and later moved to St. Paul, Minn. On Feb. 24, 1976, Harvey preceded her in death and since that time she had resided in Sioux City. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Denison.

Glee was preceded in death by her husband and her father.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, at the Maxwell Funeral Home in Denison with the Rev. James D. Cobb officiating. Comfort in music was provided by Henry Henningsen as soloist and Dorothy Norman, as organist. Pallbearers included David Rauch, Sidney and Steve Schrum, Delmar Mauritz, Ronald Bierma and Donald Jensen. Burial was in the Nishnabotna Cemetery at Manilla. The Maxwell Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of the arrangements.
