She was born on February 11, 1931 in Windber daughter of the now late Steve and Mary Katherine (Yuscanitch) Hancharik. Also preceded in death by husband Frank in 2008, and brother Steve Hancharik. Mary Jane was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid quilter. Mary Jane was a long time employee of Arcadia Theatre, Windber, working at the ticket counter.
