Obituary Mrs. Emma Einhorn

Mrs. Emma Einhorn (nee Emerich) wife of Michael Einhorn died Saturday night, January 2, at 11 o'clock after a sickness of a little more than three weeks from Bright's disease. Mrs. Einhorn had been in failing health for some time (four years), but her strong constitution had enabled her to bear up and keep a cheerful disposition. She was a great favorite among a large circle of relatives and friends, an exemplary and devoted wife, a loving mother and a kind and true friend. Her many friends over the county will be greatly shocked and much grieved to hear of her death. She had been a good catholic all her life.

The funeral was held at Island Grove Cemetery Tuesday morning January 5. Mrs. Einhorn was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mat Emerich and was born February 26, 1851. She was united in marriage to Michael Einhorn November 17, 1878. Her husband, five children, one sister and two brothers survive her as follows: children, Mrs. Rosa Weisbrodt, Chicago Height, Ill., Frank Einhorn, Montrose; George Einhorn, Teutopolis; Michael and Emma (at home) Montrose; Sister, Josephine Buselmere; brothers, Albert Emerich, residence unknown; Ferdinand Emerich, Wheeler, also eight grand children and other relatives and friends to mourn their loss.

The vacant chair can not be filled again in their home.
