Lyle was born Nov. 5, 1936, in Hall County to Ernest and Lula (Kroeger) Harders.
Survivors are: wife, Frances Harders of Wood River; sons and daughter-in-law, Ron and Mary Harders, Bill Harders, all of Wood River; daughter and son-in-law, Jolene and Bob Peters of Cairo; brother, Vernon Harders of Wood River; sister-in-law, Donna Harders of Cairo; grandchildren, Nikki Peters, Megan Peters, Roger Harders, Ryan Harders, Jeff Harders and Emily Harders.
Lyle was baptized Nov. 29, 1936 and confirmed in 1949 in the Lutheran Faith. He grew up in the Cairo area receiving his education at Hall County District 37 graduating from Cairo High School with the class of 1954.
Lylr was united in marriage to Frances Runge on Dec. 31, 1956, in Cairo. The couple lived and farmed near Wood River where he also sold seed corn.
Lyle was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Cairo, and Platte Valley Antique Club.
He enjoyed his family, grandchildren, visiting with friends, antique tractors and machinery, listening to bluegrass gospel music, camping, fishing and his loving dog, Ace.
Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Doyle Harders, sister-in-law, Beverly Harders.
Burial was in the Berwick Cemetery, Cairo, NE.
