(A FAG Member was just at the Dellinger Cemetery Aug.2012 and said there is no marker for Johann Dellinger. The caretaker,97 yr old Noah Dellinger Told Them that many graves are now unmarked because the old wooden headstones are gone.

Johan George Dellinger
Earlier today I made a suggested edit to Johan George Dellinger, 82333172, stating that he was not a son of Johan Andreas Dellinger and Anna Margaretha Kolb. You rejected that suggestion with the reason that it does not match information you have for him. I'm curious as to what your information is. Church records from Oberacker, Baden-Wurtemberg, Germany, as described in the manuscript "Ortssippenbuch Oberacker Landkreis Bruchsal in Baden" by Rudolf and Margarete Herzer and Gustav Mayer details that Johan Andreas Dellinger married twice, first to Margaretha Kolb and secondly to Anna Margaretha, a widow of Hans Ulrich Winkler. Andreas and Margaretha were the parents of:
1. Hans Michael, b. 1683
2. Blandina Margaretha, b. 1686
3. Anna Elisabetha, b. about 1688
4. Johan Peter, b. 1692

Margaretha Kolb died prior to 1697, and he married Anna Margaretha on 4 May 1697.

Andreas and Anna Margaretha had the following children:
1. Johann Jacob (my great-great-great-great-great grandfather), b. 1698
2. Anna Maria, b. 1700
3. Anna Dorothea, b. 1702
4. Maria Elisabeth, b. about 1705.

As I wrote in my suggestion, DNA results from descendants of both Johann Jacob, his first cousins (sons of Hans Paul) Valentin and Johan Philip do not match the DNA results of descendants of Johann George.

Again I would be interested in knowing what information you have that ties Johann George to Johann Andreas.
