Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2002, at Jericho United Methodist Church, Cameron, S.C. Rev. Chris Arries, assisted by Pastor Richard Albert, will officiate.
Burial in Jericho United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by FOGLE-HUNGERPILLER FUNERAL HOME.
Active pallbearers will be Leon Powers, Calvin Strock, Smitty Macks, Boyd Felkel, Billy Bochette, and Doug French.
Mr. Felkel was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Jacob Madison and Daisy Herlong Felkel. He was an Army veteran of W.W.II, was a member of Jericho United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Men's Bible Class. Mr. Felkel was married to the late Rebecca Smith Felkel. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.
Survivors include one son, Robin B. Felkel, Summerville, S.C.; one daughter, Wanda F. Amsbaugh, Cordova, S.C.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred F. Shuler, Providence and Jeannette F. Engle, Elloree, S.C.
