Robert H. Kimm, 71 years old, of Independence, formerly of Hazelton, died on Tuesday, June 2, 1998 at People's Nursing Care Center in Independence. He was born May 13, 1927 in Norway, IA, son of William Silas and Anna Virginia Hoard Kimm. He attended school in Jesup, IA. He worked in the ham department at Rath Packing Co, in Waterloo. He also had a bicycle repair shop in Independence.
Mr. Kimm is survived by three sisters, Eleanor Wayson of Waterloo, IA, Janet Kimm of Independence, and Charlotte Hessenius of Cedar Rapids; one brother Ed Kimm of Southern California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymond Kimm and Charles Kimm and one sister Kathryn Kimm
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 1998 at White Funeral Home. The service was led ;by Deacon John Herman. Mr Herman also played the organ. Burial was in Cedar Crest Cemetery in Jesup, IA
