Mary A. Haensgen, 89, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Woodlands Senior Park. She was born December 27, 1922 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Clemens and Helen Schmitz Olig. On October 27, 1941 she married Leander J. Haensgen at St. John the Baptist Church, Johnsburg and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1999. Mary was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg and the Christian Mother's group. She enjoyed reading, fishing, watching the Brewers and Packers, playing Bingo, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

SURVIVORS: her children, Donald (Betty) Haensgen, Johnsburg, Gerald (Mary) Haensgen, Fond du Lac, Gordon (Virginia) Haensgen, Johnsburg, Kathleen (Dale) Schneider, Johnsburg, Thomas (Debra) Haensgen, Mt. Calvary, Debra Ann (Daniel) Halbach, Mt. Calvary; 19 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Rosie Haensgen, Rosemary Olig, and Anna Mae Olig, all of Fond du Lac; one brother-in-law, Orville (Mildred) Haensgen, Johnsburg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leander; one son, Lyle; one daughter-in-law, Joanne; one great great grandson; three brothers, Leander, Orville, and Conrad Olig; three sisters, Helen Koenigs, Frances Haensgen, and Julianna Olig; three sisters-in-law, Adell Bartel, Regina Haensgen, and Lucille Haensgen; five brothers-in-law, Marvin, Sylvester, Alfred "Fritz", and Clarence Haensgen and Ervin Bartel.

VISITATION: will be from 2:30 - 5:30 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Church, Johnsburg. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Church, Johnsburg with Rev. Joseph Coerber officiating. Entombment will take place at 10 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
