Frances was born in Paia, Maui and she moved to Albuquerque, NM with her beloved husband, Daniel in the 1980s.
Frances was preceded in death by husband, Daniel, parents, Han Choon Kang and Prudence Choi Kim and son, David.
Frances is survived by brothers, Abraham Kang and his wife, Yaeko and Samuel Kim and his wife, Liz, her children, Ann Marie Ide and her husband, Thomas, Danny Rawlins and his, wife, Darrylyn, Claire Yoshida and her husband, Elden, Francie Monteith and her husband David, Michele Portillo and her husband, Robert and Michael Rawlins and his wife, Merly, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.
Frances taught Catechism at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta, NM and was active with Legion of Mary, Altar and Rosary Society and the Marian Movement of Priests. Frances traveled the world and studied many cultures through her treasured library and volunteered with the Albuquerque Office of Senior Affairs - Adult Shared Housing.
A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at French - Westside Chapel, Albuquerque, NM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd. SE, in Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
