Raymond C. Wick, 95, of Courtview Dr., Carrollton, died Thursday evening, Dec. 9, 2010, in the Carroll Golden Age Retreat following an extended illness. Born Oct. 21, 1915, in Hibbing, Minn. He was a son of the late Carl and Agnes Shellane Wick. Ray was a World War II Navy veteran. H was a retired home contractor in Carroll County. Ray is a member of the Harsh Memorial United Methodist Church of Harlem Springs, Carroll Masonic Lodge #124, Minerva Chapter, and a life member of The American Legion.
Ray is survived by daughter, Sharon (Sam) DeVault of Sherrodsville; two grandchildren, Chris (Donna) DeVault of Columbus, Cynthia (Brad) Baughman of Carrollton; four great-grandchildren, Kayla DeVault, Cameron DeVault, Tylar Baughman, Braydon Baughan; two sisters, Joan (Jerry) Thompson of Hermantown, Minn., Carolyn (Terry) Engholm of Eureka Springs, Ark. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen on Feb. 12, 2006; his stepmother, Clara Midthun; one brother. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Sweeney-Ddds Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Kimberly Arbaugh officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Harlem Springs Cemetery.
