Magdalene Johanna Morisch, 80, Spencer died Tuesday, March 24, 1998 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital, Spencer

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spencer with the Rev. Albert Grendler officiating

Vigil service will be today at 7 p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at the Warner Chapel, Warner Funeral Home, Spencer

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Spencer

Casket bearers will be her Grandchildren

Honorary casket bearer will be her Great Grandchildren

Magdalen Johanna Morisch, the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth (Koch) Faust, was born July 18, 1917, in Petersburg, Nebraska and it was in the country schools she received her education

On October 4, 1938, she married Harold Morisch in Petersburg, Nebraska. Following their marriage, they lived in Petersburg where they farmed until 1952. Then they moved to northwest Iowa, settling in Spencer about 1960

While living in Spencer, Mrs. Morisch was a member of the Sacred Hear Catholic Church, a past member of the Royal Neighbors and had worked as a custodian at the schools and the YMCA

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son; one sister and two brothers

Mrs. Morisch is survived by her husband; four sons, Bill and Connie Morisch of Carlos, Minnesota, Bob and Sue Morisch of Spencer; Ed and Pat Morisch of Spencer; Larry and Nancy Morisch of LeMars; three daughters; Ella Mae and Don Dirksen of Des Moines; Mary and Gary Orthmann of Sutherland; Katie and Gary Weiskircher of Milford; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Marie Ruge of Norfolk, Nebraska; fourt brothers; Ed Faust of Petersburg, Nebraska; John and Ray Faust both of Omaha, Nebraska and Dan Faust of Lincoln, Nebraska
