OKEECHOBEE, FL - Edward R. Kassner, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2P.M. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Dziadul will be officiating.

Mr. Kassner was born August 2, 1931 to the late Albert and Marie Anthe Kassner in Hamilton County, Ohio. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Kassner was a member of the Moose Club, VFW, EMS Council and was of the Methodist faith. He was an avid fisherman, loved cigars, traveling and cruising. He also loved the Buckhead Ridge Community. Mr. Kassner is preceded in death by his brother Elmore Kassner.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara Kassner of Okeechobee; daughters, Belinda Driskell (Mike), Bonnie Liaug (Chip Randall), all of Atlanta, Kathy Perry of Ohio; Sons, Mike and Tony Kassner of Ohio; Grandchildren, Lauren Driskell and Matt Liuag of Atlanta.
