She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Wylie Guettner and by her brothers and sisters-in-law; Tom (Freda) Malina and William (Lola) Malina both of Houston, Texas and her sister, Annie (Tom) Coldewey of Yoakum, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
Emilie is survived by her daughter Doris Taylor, her granddaughter Terrie (Allan) Crockett and two great grandsons, Charles and Andrew Crockett of Harlingen, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Allan Crockett, David Guettner, Dan Gast, Joe Sestak, Fred Sampson, and Bob Cook. Funeral services will be in the Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel at 12:30 p.m. with visitation beginning one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
