Katharina Dorthea (Dora) Kunolt was baptized on July 18, 1862, at Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln, Missouri. Her godparents were Claus Berger; Meta Detjen; and Katharina Aldag.

Dora was confirmed at Zion on April 9, 1876. Her confirmation verses were Psalm 51:12–13. She married Christian Gernandt on March 11, 1886, at Zion. Their attendants were Christian Kunolt, Johann Linstrot, Anna Kunolt, and Maria Linstrot.

Dora was buried on Nov. 15, 1928.
