Rosa Caroline (Tankersley) Harris, 85, of Grand Prairie, Texas, formerly of Cunningham, died at 3:24 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at her home.
Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and longtime member of Corinth United Methodist Church of Cunningham. She was a guild member and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Rural Carriers of Kentucky.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Walt Stell of Grand Prairie; her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Desira and Anthony Zimmerer of Euless, Texas; three great-grandsons, Nicholas Eugene Zimmerer, Christopher Baker Zimmerer and Zachary Christian Zimmerer, all of Euless; and her sister-in-law, Martha Allbritten of Memphis, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Franklin B. Harris, and her sister, Hettie R. Tankersley. Her parents were John and Ada (Bone) Tankersley.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell. The Rev. Marita Burkeen will officiate, with burial in Cunningham Memorial Gardens.
