Joyce Maxine McQuary, daughter of the late Moy W. Davis and Hortense "Tensey" Farmer Davis was born on June 30, 1935 in Dexter and died on January 21, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield at the age of 76.

Mrs. McQuary was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dexter, worked as a rural letter carrier and was a resident of Dexter.

On December 1, 1951 she was united in marriage to Wayne Howard McQuary in Dexter. Mr. McQuary preceded her in death on November 9, 1997.

She is survived by two sons, Steven McQuary of Malden and Scott McQuary of Jefferson City, Missouri; by two daughters, Sharon Sulzer of Imperial, Missouri and Susan Pullam of Dexter; by three grandchildren, Nicole Sulzer of Imperial, Missouri, Trinity and Tristan Pullam both of Dexter and by five great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Davis and Donald Davis.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 5:00P.M. until 8:00P.M. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield
