He died at 9:24PM, Thursday, January 26, 2012 at his home
He was born on May 7, 1931 in Hecla, S.D. the son of Henry G. and Elizabeth C. Schwarting. He was a retired civil engineer and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He had been a resident of the area for the past 17 years.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Jean Ann Schwarting of Ridgedale, MO., two daughters: Karen Wilkinson and husband Walt of Carrollton, TX., Connie Posekany of Crane, MO. one sister: Etta Lewis of Oakes, N.D. two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.. He was preceded in death by his parents five siblings: Harold Schwarting, Eda Cole, Harvey Schwarting, Fern McCart and Delbert Schwarting.
