Charles Alexander Schott went to be with Lord on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012. Funeral: 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: The family will receive 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington.

He was born Oct. 25, 1941, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Alex and Mottie Schott. Charles was the owner of Car City Auto, known for "Stacking 'Em Deep and Selling 'Em Cheap!" He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; and daughters, Dara Schott and Denise Schott Hunt.

Survivors: His sons, Duane Schott, David Schott and his wife, Melanie, and Duke Schott and his wife, Michelle; granddaughters, Gracie Schott, Chelesa Maynard and Katy Schott; grandsons, Trey Hunt and wife, Amy, Caleb Hunt and wife, Audrey, Charlie Schott, Taylor Schott, Jeffrey Schott and Seth Schott; great-grandson, Ethan Hunt; sisters, Lydia Wind, Freda Carrier, Margaret Fraipont, Bertha McCart, Eva McCoy and Rebecca White; brothers, John and Ronald Schott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
