Mary Bess Beasecker
Mary Bess Beasecker, age 91, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Jan. 30, 2012, at 4:30 a.m. at the Brethren Retirement Community.
She was born on Dec. 26, 1920, in Darke County, Ohio to the late Ester and Alma (Thompson) Fiebiger.
Mary is survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, Guy Fiebiger of Augusta, Ga., and Fred and Anne Fiebiger of Troy, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Beasecker whom she married on Aug. 9, 1941; brothers, Ralph, Judson and Donald Fiebiger; sisters, Eva Fiebiger, Marjorie Brewer, Ruby Embree, and Lilian Cotterman.
Mary worked as an executive secretary at General Motors Detroit Diesel Allison Division in Indianapolis, Ind. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenville, Ohio, where she was a past member of the choir, First Christian Church in Versailles, Ohio and the Eastern Star.
There will be a service held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 202 W. 4th St., Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Joe Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Dayton Memorial Park in Dayton, Ohio. …
