Mrs. Nohl was a native of Rhein Prussen, Europe, where she was born January 26, 1829, and came to America at the age of 14 with her parents. She settled in the town of New Berlin in 1832, was married in 1852, and thenceforward resided in this village. Her husband proceeded her in death four years.
Eight children were born of their union, five daughters and three sons, all of whom survive to mourn her demise. Many of the earlier inhabitants of New Berlin and numerous Waukesha friends will hold her in grateful remembrance.
