Rucker, James Donal, born 6/22/1920, died 2/7/2012. Survivors include sons Loren Rucker of Bartlesville, OK and John Snell of Brooklyn, WI. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his parents (Floyd and Lucy Rucker), three sisters and a brother, his wife (Ramona Rucker) and son (Donnie Rucker). Don loved children and was an avid fisherman. At church he was known as the candy man, handing out candy to all the kids. All of his grandchildren were special, but one that came late in his life became particularly close. Anyone who ever met Don was sure to hear of Brady. He was the grandson Don never dreamed of having and the one to carry on the Rucker name. Don was able to spend a lot of time with Brady, and they became great buddies. Don could be seen many times in game rooms with his grandson. Don was always the oldest person in the game room, but his smile made him look years younger. A long-time Boeing employee, he was a great provider and loving husband and dad. Don will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him, but we all know he is in a better place. The reunion must have been spectacular. Funeral service will be Friday 2 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary.
