At the age of 86, Howard William Abbott died January 18, 2011. Howard was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was retired from the US Postal Service General Mail Center as a supervisor. During his later years, he enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and Jacksonville Jaguars.
He is predeceased by his wife, Ruth Jeanne Abbott, his son, Frederick Silcox, Sr., and a grandson, David Masse.
Survivors include his 3 daughters, two brothers, two sisters, 6 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The interment was privately at Greenlawn Cemetery.
