Went by the name Julia.

She was the daughter of Heinrich and Berhardina Doebbeler Foth. Her maiden name has also been written as Voth.

Married Joseph Gerstner on November 10, 1892 in Logan, Utah.

October of 1918 was particularly hard for Julia. In the span of less than a month, she lost her husband, a daughter, a son-in-law, and a grandson.

Her son-in-law, Bryce Davis, died in France while serving in WWI. A week and a half later, her daughter Amelia gave birth to a stillborn grandson, then passed away the next day. Though her husband's other wives also had children, Amelia was Julia's only living child.

Finally, her husband, Joseph, died just four days after Amelia.

Julia died in 1933, at the age of seventy-one.
