Mrs. Leu was born Feb. 8, 1913 in Lompoc to Frank and Jessie Forbes Huyck. She graduated from Lompoc High School in 1929 and was a life-long resident. She worked at Vandenberg Air Force Base in the procurement department for 20 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Lompoc Ladies of the Elks who liked to golf.
She died Friday, May 29, 1988, at Lompoc hospital.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Barreras and Loretta Frazier, both of Lompoc; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, five nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Leu and her brothers Earl and Howard Huyck.
